As a person who tends to run Linux binaries I can not fully trust the source of I was frustrated with the time consuming effort of setting up and managing containers or sandbox environments for those said untrusted binaries.

Hence I decided to publish a project I developed to automatize this procedure. It is GPL licensed with around 6000 lines of Rust code. And yes I did use a good amount of AI to develop this.

It is a relatively simple program with a practical UI, I am still finetuning it and it DOES have bugs, but for my personal use it has been helpful for me and I hope that someone else may find it useful aswell.

It uses systemd-nspawn to run containers, which creates a VM-like environment without the resource intensiveness or restrictions an actual VM proposes.

Since you were vibe coding the thing and using Rust, why not choose a more sensible UI toolkit like egui? GTK4/libadwaita sucks.
